Absolutely incredible experience! This place serves some of the best katsu I’ve ever had. Be prepared for a bit of a wait for your food to come out, but I promise it is absolutely worth it. The mixed pork cutlet set was cooked to absolute perfection. The tenderloin pieces had a beautifully juicy, slight pink center, and the breading was remarkably crispy and light without feeling heavy or greasy. I also highly recommend the cheese katsu. The cutlets are generously stuffed with rich, perfectly melted cheese. Both sets came with perfectly paired sides, including fresh, finely shredded cabbage, a rich sesame dipping sauce, and a comforting bowl of soup. To cap off an already amazing meal, the dessert was a fantastic touch. The vanilla ice cream, finished with a sweet drizzle, was a beautifully presented and refreshing palate cleanser after the savory, crispy pork. The attention to detail, quality of the ingredients, and beautiful presentation make this place a top-tier choice. I will definitely be coming back!

Got the combo set tonkatsu which included tenderloin and loin, a great choice to try both cuts! The premium loin I also tried which is definitely juicier and more tender than the loin you see here but the price and value is great for a lunch set like this. I think the soup might have been my favorite part! Service can be a bit slow here especially as they dont have a lot of staff, but the place is clean, new, and most importantly the food is pretty good - one of the best tonkatsu I've had in NY! Would recommend and come back.

People who work near Midtown Manhattan are incredibly lucky. For around $30, you can enjoy a high-quality Korean lunch set that feels much more like a fine dining experience than a typical neighborhood restaurant. The restaurant serves authentic Korean cuisine with excellent quality at a very reasonable price. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors were balanced and satisfying without being overly heavy or rich. I ordered the soy-marinated raw crab and sushi. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and light, making it an easy and enjoyable meal. The raw crab was especially impressive—it was easy to eat, and the meat and jelly slid out of the shell effortlessly. The texture was silky, the flavor was delicate and rich, and it was one of the highlights of the meal. The side dishes were also well made and clearly prepared with care. The soup was fresh, light, and comforting, providing the perfect complement to the main dishes. Overall, this is an excellent spot for anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality Korean lunch in Midtown without paying fine dining prices. I would definitely come back.

This is easily one of the best K-BBQ spots in NYC—a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean barbecue. We got the beef set for two and paired it with a special cocktail recommended by our server, which was an excellent choice. Our server Baek was the best—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations that truly elevated the experience. He made sure that the meat was prepared just the way we liked and pacing everything so we never felt rushed. Even though it was a busy evening, he stayed on top of our drinks and checked in to see if we needed anything else. The banchan were fantastic, and the beef was high quality.They also offer great options for vegetarians, making it a good choice for mixed groups. Overall, the ambiance, service, and especially the food were outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had such an amazing experience at Jeong Yuk Jeom NYC. From the moment we sat down, everything felt elevated, the setup was clean and modern, and the service was super attentive and friendly. We had the sushi yukhoe, and it was honestly so good, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also had the A5 wagyu brisket, and it literally melts in your mouth. The quality of the meat is insane, and you can really taste how premium it is with every bite. Once everything hit the grill, the flavors just got even better, tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The banchan were also fresh and well-prepared, adding the perfect variety to the meal, and the sauces complemented everything without overpowering it. Overall, we had such a great time, the vibe is upscale but still comfortable, perfect for a night out. Definitely one of the best Korean BBQ spots we’ve tried in NYC, and we’ll 100% be back.
